I heard something profound yesterday and I just had to share. And it just might give you more energy.
"It takes more energy to HIDE who you are than to BE who you are." Wyatt Webb
What a fantastic thought - as well as - what a freeing thought.
Webb also talked about how people will show up around animals just like they show up in the world - and a horse won't give you his hoof for cleaning if you're hiding who you are.
Are you hiding who you are? What's the benefit of hiding who you are?
Sometimes we hide who we are around certain people and be who we are around others.
Even though being who you are might be scary and unknown - yet - once you get there - it is so freeing. I love, love, love being around my parents, Jon and a select group of friends - because I am totally who I am around these people. I love being around them because I love being me (or at least I love who I am around them).
What can you do to discover where you're hiding who you are? What's one thing you can do today to get closer to being who you are?
I'd love to hear your insights and discoveries.
