Okay, so I'm going to talk about an odd subject - boils.
All my life, I've had them instead of acne. I usually get them at the bend of my chin. It fills it in and I look so odd.
Well, it's been a long time since I've had any and I all of a sudden had an outbreak after I completed a liver and gal bladder cleanse.
I've never had such a horrible outbreak and I was at my wit's end to find something that would help them stop hurting and go away.
I Googled "natural remedies for boils" and I got the strangest page - specific to Los Angeles. How did Google know where I live?
This web site has 8 pages dedicated to boils and comments regarding their remedies. All remedies has single digit "yea" answers except one - which had over 191 "yea" votes.
What was the remedy? Turmeric. Yes, the spice turmeric.
So what do you do with it? Either drink a glass of water with one teaspoon of turmeric in it three times a day or do what I did - buy some empty gel capsules and make your own non-gross way of ingesting the spice.
I was in so much pain and disfigurement from the boils that I was willing to try just about anything.
I also figured that it couldn't hurt me to take three teaspoons of turmeric a day - after all it is a spice and not a chemical.
I read through the comments regarding this magical remedy and couldn't believe the amount of positive comments. I had nothing to lose so I bought some gel caps and started taking the turmeric last Wednesday.
After two days, I noticed that my boils didn't hurt anymore and any tenderness was gone. The consistency of the boils also changed and began shrinking as layers of my skin dried and peeled away to reveal new and healthy skin.
In less than a week, my boils are on their way out and my chin looks a million times better.
I know that as I continue to use this remedy, my boils will disappear and the only reminder I will have of them is a memory.
I wanted to share my findings to help others that might have similar challenges.
What bliss to find a natural remedy that produces fantastic results.
